We were contacted by Falmouth Town Council regarding the replacement of the rotting steps and platform on the Crocodile at Gyllyngdune Gardens in Princess Pavilions, Falmouth.

Removal of the rotten wood

As you can see in the image above, the job began with one of our SWPSI Directors, Geoffrey Richards, removing the rotten wood from the Crocodile.

Installation of the platform

Oak sleepers purchased from Truro Sawmills were used as the platform for the crocodile. We chose Oak as it is a hardwood and has a longer lifespan.

Installation of the stairs

Again, we used oak sleepers purchased from Truro Sawmills for the installation of the stairs. Our playground maintainer, Benjamin Phillips, assisted Geoffrey with the installation.

The finished product

The completed repairs will serve Falmouth Pavilions for many years to come.

Our in-house team of qualified maintenance engineers has a wealth of knowledge in equipment, rubber mulch, nets, gates, and fencing. Get in touch with our experienced team today at swpsiltd@btinternet.com.
