Here at SWPSI we can not only repair your rubber mulch, but also replace it for you. Rubber mulch is a durable and environmentally friendly surface. It can be used in playgrounds, parks, recreational spaces and seating areas. The natural look means it blends into surroundings and is very low maintenance. All of our playground surfacing work complies to EN1177 surfacing standards.

Annual Inspections:

Children's playgrounds should be inspected annually by an independent specialist to ensure the long term safety of the site, equipment and ancillary items. This will also meet legal and insurance responsibilities as well as complying with the requirements of EN1176 (the European Playground Standard)

Operational Inspections:

Operational playground inspections are necessary for play areas , to ensure the safety and stability of the equipment. This involves a detailed view of the Playground which can take place every one to three months, to check for any parts which could be a potential harm to the children. When carrying out the inspection, the specialist will look for; cleanliness, sharp edges, missing parts and much more, to protect children from danger.

Routine Inspections:

The regular check of the children's playground is intended to be quick and simple. Its primary function is to identify faults or dangers arising from vandalism or breakage.

Repairs and maintenance

We can undertake repairs and refurbishments on any manufacturer’s equipment and repair defects identified in inspection reports.
